Braces can cost about $3,000 to $6,000, depending on the complexity of the case. Certain percentage of the cost can be covered by insurance, depending on your dental insurance plan.
The complete price for braces will run you anywhere from $3,000-$6,000. Behind the teeth braces typically run another $1,000-$2,500. These are called lingual braces and cost more due to customization requirements. On the economical side of things you can go with invisible braces called Invisalign. Invisalign braces cost only about $3,500-$5,000 depending on how much alignment is required. These seem to be the favorite and new standard for braces. Making teens happier and less apparent, these invisible braces are more comfortable than the old style metal braces, as well. Your insurance may cover a portion of the braces, but you’ll need to check with your insurance provider to see what your portion of responsibility is yours.
