How Many Types of Snakes Are There

In total, there are about 2,780 and 2,790 different species of snakes around the world, living in grassy areas, lakes, deserts and mountains. Of all the species near 600 are venomous witch means that about 2,200 species are nonvenomous. There are exzatly 2,400 diffrent types of snakes.

There are basically two kinds of snakes; venomous and non-venomous. Varieties are as below
